To get the Yahoo! Search
IMVironment, just follow the steps below:
- Make sure you are using a Windows PC. Mac users can not use IMVironments at this time.
- Click here to download Yahoo! Messenger on to your computer.

NOTE: Current Yahoo! Messenger users, to use IMVironments, you need to have the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger. To check whether you have the correct version, go to the "Help" menu in your Yahoo! Messenger application, and select "About Yahoo! Messenger..." The first line of text will say something similar to the following:
Yahoo! Messenger (5, 6, 0, 1000)
If the first two numbers in the parenthesis are "5, 6", you have the latest version. Skip step #2, and proceed to step #3. If either of the numbers are lower than "5", click here to download the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger.
- Once you've downloaded Yahoo! Messenger, click here to get the Yahoo! Search IMVironment.
- To use the Yahoo! Search IMVironment at any time, just click on the
 button, select "Yahoo! Search" from the "Interactive Fun" category screen, and begin instant messaging with a friend.
